Surprise Stylist Part Three: The Big Reveal Video

So Christen has a new hairstyle and makeup look. Let's see what Marie Claire has in store for her fashion.

Christen, this is Zoe Glassner, she's Marie Claire's fashion editor.

So, Christen, you seem to have a very simple style so you showed up in like the best blank slate there is which is jeans and a T-shirt but I have a couple of ideas to sort of take this from ordinary to extraordinary.

Cool.

So the first thing is, this little lady-like cardigan--

Oh, I like that--

It's kind of a blazer, kind of a knit, and it's gonna serve to cover up the T-shirt, sort of keeping the sort of casualness but taking this to a new place. The other thing that sort of works with this lady-like look are pearls, but instead of a single strand of really lady-like dainty pearls, they're coming in these sort of bad-ass colors, multiple strands, to make the look sort of new. It's not just a sweet, sweet lady look anymore, it's a little bit more rocker.

That's really cool.

The other thing that sometimes we add to the pearls which is new are chains. So, this is like, you know, we're getting somewhere with this. I pulled these for you because they're like a lady-like shoe, the quintessential sort of T strap feeling with a little big toe but it has this really fierce stiletto, so you have this sort of rock and roll take on the new lady.

No, I'd really like it. I think you look adorable. It's a very versatile and easy way to just take your look from 0 to 60.

This has been such an incredible day. I love my new hair color, I love my new hairstyle. Not only do I look that much better but I feel like it's something I can keep up. I love to have my hair and makeup done by Lisa because I rarely wear makeup and I felt like she brought out my natural features. Zoe is the best stylist. She just made it like pop. My fiance's gonna absolutely love my new look. I'm the luckiest bride in the world.
