If you’ve ever wondered what fairy dust smells like, there’s a high chance that Gucci’s Muschio Di Luce is it. A part of the brand’s Alchemist's Garden collection, it has pink pepper, musk, vetiver, and more. Never would I have ever thought that a nail polish scent could complete a fragrance, but this formula is so well blended that I could only give it its well-deserved props after testing. The perfume is equal parts woody and gourmand, but the formula somehow combines to feel like what I imagine jumping headfirst into a pile of baby powder would smell like. Simply heavenly.

Ginger and lavender start things off on the more aromatic-herbal end of the spectrum, before beeswax, sandalwood, and musk take over and offer a blanket of softness. It’s a combination that I never thought would work, but after weeks of testing, I am pleased to stand completely corrected.
