In the latest development from the unlikely pairing that is Miley Cyrus and The Flaming Lips, the pop star and neo-psychedelia and covered The Beatles' trippy ballad "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds."
The band's Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd joined Cyrus onstage at her BANGERZ gig at Manchester's Phones4U and the performance was every bit as lurid as you'd imagine. Rumors are swirling that the performanced was taped and will air during the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday. Consider our fingers crossed.
