For those of you who are confused, heartbroken and/or devastated over Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's decision to forgo signing on to Netflix's Fuller House, at least find comfort in knowing that their absence is most likely the reason behind some really nice mules and loafers. The former Full House stars and The Row designers announced they've been busy preparing an exciting addition to their ready-to-wear line.
"Footwear was the natural next category for The Row," Mary-Kate told Footwear News. "We want to provide our customers with all her essentials. We hope The Row shoe collection will do that."
This recent expansion to their fashion empire is just part of MK and A's big plan for 2016. The 29-year-old twins are also readying up to open The Row's flagship store in NYC—leading us to believe that the Olsens just don't have the time to bring Michelle "You Got It Dude" Tanner back to life. Which, of course, has us feeling all...

But WAIT, there are still cute shoes to be had because of this. Let's not forget that. (Glass half full, guys.)

"We have worked with Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Barbara Shaum and Enzo Bonafè, among a few others," Ashley explained of the research she and her sister put into their latest venture. "We wanted to approach footwear organically and have a better understanding of the market before launching an in-house shoe collection."
The duo gave a first glimpse at seven different styles—priced $850 to $1,350—during their label's pre-fall presentation on Friday in New York. Expect to see the complete Italian-made collection (in an array of fabrics, colors and prints) hit stores in May.
