Piers Morgan apologised to Ariana Grande last night, saying "I misjudged you." The journalist and TV presenter initially criticized the 23-year-old singer for not visiting victims in hospital in the immediate aftermath of the bombing at her concert in Manchester on 22 May.
Morgan tweeted during last night's One Love Manchester concert, which Grande had organized in tribute to those who were injured and lost their lives in the attack, calling the singer "an admirable young woman."
Morgan also had a rare kind word to say about Justin Bieber, too.
He took to Twitter again this morning to congratulate Grande on the concert.
Morgan faced a social media backlash from her fans after initially condemning the singer for flying home to Florida after the Manchester attack.
Following news that the Queen had paid a hospital visit to those injured by the explosion, he tweeted: "If the Queen can visit the victims in hospital, so can the star they paid to see." He added, "I expected her to stay, visit & comfort her wounded fans & relatives of those who died."
On Saturday, prior to last night's benefit concert, which raised millions of pounds for those affected, Grande spent time meeting with the victims and their families in hospital.
