Right after the Republican presidential nominees wrapped up their debate, Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton had her own spotlight on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. She sat down on the late-night show to talk Trump, parenting, and yes, those emails.
Fallon started the show off with a sketch, featuring himself as Donald Trump on the phone with Clinton. They did a mock interview to "prepare" for Fallon, and Clinton had a hard time keeping a straight face. When she asked him what his stance on women's issues was, "Trump" said, "I know a lot of women, and they all have issues."
On immigration, Clinton tried to get empathetic: "Do you have any idea what it's like to work so hard for something, to be so close to getting it, then someone pops out of nowhere and tries to take it all away?" But then, of course, the subject turned to hair. "Are you talking about Bernie Sanders? I hate to say it, but I think he's losing his hair," "Trump" said. And then Clinton landed the best line of the night: "At least he doesn't just have one strand that he twirls over his head like a soft serve at Dairy Queen."
Fallon and Clinton then sat down for a full interview, discussing the scandal around her personal emails while Secretary of State, her "grandma" use of technology, and taking selfies with Kim Kardashian (she and Kanye were "delightful" at a fundraiser, she said).
She also advised Fallon as a new parent, telling him to read to his kids, no matter how young. (Even if it's The Art of the Deal.)
Of course, the topic turned to Trump over and over. Clinton said she's having "a good time watching" his campaign. Fallon then called her a "tough mother," and like "if Ronda Rousey shopped at Ann Taylor Loft," which should be her new campaign slogan.
They chatted about his hair, and Fallon proved that Clinton's hair is also real. "You can't say the same about the color," she joked. And then she launched into her own Trump impression, which just isn't the same without a wispy, orange wig.
