While Lady Gaga and A Star Is Born did not win the majority of awards they were nominated for, Gaga did take home the Golden Globe for Best Original Song for "Shallow," an honor that just about brought Gaga to tears when it was announced by presenter Taylor Swift. After the Globes ceremony, Gaga and her fiancé Christian Carino stopped by Warner Brothers and InStyle's Golden Globes after party, where they shared a kiss photographers caught. They had been shot holding hands earlier in the night.
At home, Carino gave a more intimate look at Gaga, now a two-time Golden Globes winner. He posted a black and white photo of her, out of her dress in bed with a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and her new Golden Globe being held in her arm. "What a rager," he captioned the shot, adding a red emoji heart.
Gaga confirmed her engagement to Carino in October during her ELLE Women in Hollywood speech. In her closing remarks, Gaga thanked a host of people, including her "fiancé Christian." Carino, a talent agent, was first confirmed to be dating Gaga in February 2017 by People. Engagement rumors began nine months later in Us Weekly, although it was another year before Lady Gaga herself confirmed them.
Gaga will continue her award season run for A Star Is Born next week at the Critics' Choice Awards, where she is nominated for Best Actress. A Star Is Born also has a best picture nomination and best song nomination that Gaga could be on stage to celebrate in addition to its six other nominations.
