If you've ever watched a celebrity walk down the red carpet, admired her fashion choices, and then bemoaned that you too could look gorgeous with the help of a savvy stylist, your time has come. Yesterday, Style for Hire, the brainchild of What Not to Wear co-host Stacy London, launched nationwide with the question, "Why should celebrities have all the fun?"
The network of 135 professional personal stylists, each hand-picked by London, is already seeing big success. Given its services and prices — they range from $65 to $300 per hour — this isn't surprising. We love Style for Hire's closet audit (so much more fun when it doesn't have to do with the IRS), which involves a stylist reviewing a client's wardrobe and helping her decide what to toss. The logical next step? Closet shopping, during which a stylist helps create new looks — and photographs them for future reference — from the items a woman already owns, and advises her on how to maximize her investments.
With praise like this, how could we resist trying out Style for Hire?
