Neighborhood of the Week: Dupont Circle (Washington, DC)

Washington, DC's Dupont Circle is where Massachusetts and Connecticut Avenue (two of the area's busiest thoroughfares) meet; it's an office-filled neighborhood where big deals go down; and it's home to some of the most upbeat restaurants and bars in the city. Not surprisingly, where there is food and free enterprise, there is also fashion. The Dupont Circle neighborhood has loads of chic shops, from modern jewelry store I. Gorman (the recently redone showroom has been in the neighborhood for 20 years) to contemporary boutique Green and Blue (pictured at left) to gift and clothing shop Proper Topper
