Former art-director-turned-style blogger Jenny Tsang has a keen fashion eye—see her site Tsangtastic for proof—but her BFA degree and visual merchandising background mean she also has well-trained taste. Live Music: Walt Disney Concert Hall

Yep, it's a gorgeous place to take fashion photos: "Go up the stairs anywhere around the building and take pictures with its modern silver walls," Tsang advises. But the Walt Disney Concert Hall is more than a pretty space; it's also home to the LA Philharmonic Orchestra. "This is where most of the classical music concerts are held, and it gets extremely busy near the end of the year," she says.

Museum Life: LACMA

"The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is one of the prettiest and most romantic spots during the holidays," Tsang says. "I love coming here with friends—and my better half—to visit the museum and, of course, take pictures with the light posts. It's beautiful during the day and just as beautiful at night."

Vegetarian Paradise: Gracias Madre

Tsang eats meat, but she's still in love with Gracias Madre, which serves organic, vegetable-based Mexican food in a chic setting. "I was never a vegetarian, but this place could definitely change my eating habits," Tsang says. "During the holiday season, they serve the best spicy hot cocoa and cutest holiday-themed cocktails."

Luxury Shopping: Rodeo Drive

Picturesque and posh, Rodeo Drive is "my go-to holiday shopping destination," Tsang says. "It has everything you need—from the everyday to the most luxurious brands, all in one spot. It also boasts some of the most festive street decorations and an iconic Christmas tree up the stone walk." Pro tip: Go at sunset for the best photo-taking light.

Sunset and Scenery: Griffith Observatory

No sightseeing trip in Los Angeles is complete without a trip to the Griffith Observatory, where you can take in spectacular views of Los Angeles and a stunning sundown in the evening. "I come here a lot for sunsets overlooking all of LA," Tsang says. "Sometimes you just want to take a pretty walk after dinner"—which thankfully you can do in LA, whether it's July or January.
