On Friday, the internet discovered that Steve Carell had just become a veeery fine silver fox and reacted appropriately:

Carell was asked how he felt about this by ET at the premiere of Despicable Me 3 in Los Angeles Saturday. He first cracked a joke: "I am so sick of people just looking at me for my physical attributes. It's just genetic. There's nothing I can do." Then added this sweet statement: "I'm bursting with pride. That's very nice."
