STRIKE OIL!
My French friends have long praised oil cleansers over soap, touting the former's ability to leave skin moisturized. After much testing, two have converted me: Annick Goutal Petite Cherie Shower Oil ($60) lathers up to a delicious fruity foam, while John Varvatos's floral Cleansing Coil ($58) is brilliantly paired with separate grains for exfoliating just when needed.

Kudos to Metropolis L-Ion Mini Wireless Iron ($149.95) for packing so much ionic technology — which styles hair faster and leaves it more resistant to humidity — into a 7.5-inch power tool. Strong enough to speed-straighten my strands, but light and tiny enough to slip into my gym bag.
PURE POETRY
If you're not sold like I was on even just the names of the Life-Changing Body Wash ($35) and invisible Body Lotion ($40) from Strange Invisible Perfumes (its moniker is borrowed from Shakespeare), then the intoxicatingly fresh botanical scents — Wild Orange, Sicilian Lemon — will seal the deal.
