Tinder's Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder Justin Mateen has quietly resigned, sneaking out the back door a day after the company settled a sexual harassment suit out of court (via Gawker).

Mateen caused problems for the company after he sexually harassed and threatened fellow Tinder co-founder and ex-girlfriend Whitney Wolfe. Wolfe left the company and filed a lawsuit. Tinder settled out of court for an unknown amount of money.

It'll be interesting to see where Mateen ends up. He has admittedly impressive credentials, graduating from USC, getting involved in commercial real estate and co-founding the most popular dating app of the moment. But then again, he also constantly harassed a woman for months, copping an alpha bullshit attitude, calling her a whore and criticizing her for hanging out with Muslims. So hopefully he winds up in a sewer or something.
