Hi, I'm Andy Lecompte and you're at my West Hollywood Salon. I'm gonna show you how to choose for hot blowout. One that's really great about blowdry today is they're not as perfect as they used to be. If you wanted to be a little bit more effortless and be casual, you like to do it yourself, not really like you got it done and look so much. So, I'm here with Michelle. Michelle has fine hair so by adding a little intensive volume mousse like Phyto just to give it a little bit of body. So I simply wrap drying her hair to get most of the moisture out. I'm lifting up to increase volume and texture and then I'm gonna also add one of my favorite products Phytovolume Actif. This is gonna leave it a little bit more like [unknown] not so clean and boring. So I'm using a ceramic brush. I like ceramic brushes because they heat up and may give the hair a lot of shine. I'm also blow drying her hair forward so that when I pull back they give more look. The best way to come that, first go with the direction you're taking your brush notice it blowing more this way and that way giving you textured hair [unknown]. Look at the left. I'm just teasing it into the roots giving her that bedroom Brigitte Bardot sort of touch [unknown]. Hair spray also gives a real and lovely shine. There you go. So for Jessica, I'm starting by applying a little bit of grooming cream or glossing cream to the ends. Jessica's hair is slight wavy and I wanna give her sort of a loose, wavy Bohemian glow. Not so done with that. I'm done that to express all the hair as a blowdry darling. The reason I choose backward motion it's a sort of give the hair a nice sort of feathery wave that feathery wave from the top. Put back a little bit to the tips of the hair. You do that when you're at home and you take your hair out of the [unknown] perfect a little bit of wave with the hair up. Using a large pin to secure it and I let that trip while I work on the other side. The next step I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take her and I wanna add a few random waves into it so go back and forth with a flat iron just to give it a light loose stand of the hair. Also the heat from the flat iron helps eliminate the frizz and kind of polishes the ends a little bit. And finally, Finesse Mousse is one of my favorite products [unknown] and get the products a little bit heavier in the end to avoid weighing it down. Add a little bit of hairspray just for setting and there you have some loose and a few waves. So those were my tips for blowout [unknown], to post videos go to marieclaire.com.
