Marie Claire May 2014 Cover Shoot Video
Lupita Nyong'o, Kate Mara, Emilia Clarke, Elizabeth Olsen and Elle Fanning Interview for Marie Claire's May issue.
[SOUND] Two, three, four. Hi, I'm Lizzy Olsen. Hi, I'm Emilia Clarke. Hi, Kate Mara. Welcome to the May issue of Marie Claire. Hi, I'm Elle Fanning. I'm Lupita Nyong'o. Welcome to my Marie Claire photo shoot. [MUSIC] My greatest joy is probably a combination of food, friends, family, and hosting. I had a Friendsgiving for Thanksgiving this year. And that was like the best night of the year ever. I go back and forth between being really at peace when I'm sorta on a break, and just hang out at home with my friends, and don't have any plans. But then I'm equally as happy when I'm working on a project that I really love. [MUSIC] [LAUGH] Champagne, definitely was on the list. Some La Mer body cream, that was on the list. And my mom's Christmas present, which was a very expensive necklace. [MUSIC] Well I wish I had, I had time to learn how to play an instrument. Yeah. I feel like I was a musician in a past life. I really like to get back to that life. [LAUGH] But I don't have patience or the time to do it. I've never gone to a roller skating rink. And like I want to do that. I've gone ice skating, but I've just never gone roller skating rink. You know, dress up really 80s and like go with your friends. That'd be so fun. I've just never done it [LAUGH]. It's the same eye cream that I've used since high school, because I've always wanted to be very preventative. Maybe it's because my family naturally, we have dark circles under our eyes, so that was like the thing I gravitated towards. And it used to be called Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream, and now it's called Kiehl's Creamy Eye Cream or something, with avocado. Lip balm. You know, when your lips are dry nothing else matters. Like, it's just, it, it's an emergency. [LAUGH] you know? You can't smile. I can't really think, if my lips are dry. [MUSIC] My first dollar My mom probably wouldn't be happy that I'm sharing this information, but I, as a kid, I really didn't like to read. So my mom would bribe me. And say she'd give me a dollar if I read, you know, five pages in a book There's been a number of different jobs I've done, I say the first dollar I ever made was babysitting. Sitting I think I probably got paid in like shepherds pie or something, I'm not sure. To care about like what people think but then also just make sure that your comfortable with it. Because you matter the most. So and not like with clothes you wear or, or little things you say. I mean, you have, you have to feel comfortable. You can't just like walk behind, like please everyone. It has to be for you and because you like it. And if everyone else hates it, it's okay because you love it. [LAUGH] [MUSIC] [MUSIC]
