On all models: Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color in GR712, $25.

"I call this shade kombu, because it's a dark seaweed green with a bit of blue, gold, and even silver to it. On darker, warmer skin tones, this color reads more blue. Here, I applied it with a damp brush along the lashline and blended it until the shadow dried and diffused." - Dick Page

"ON FAIRER, PINKISH SKIN TONES, THIS SHADOW BECOMES ALMOST BLACK. I LET THE BRUSH FOLLOW THE NATURAL CONTOUR OF THE EYES AND EXTENDED IT A LITTLE ON THE OUTSIDE INTO A CAT EYE. I PUT A BIT OF HIGHLIGHT ON THE INNER CORNERS TO GIVE THE COLOR MORE INTENSITY." - DICK PAGE

"YELLOW-BASED SKIN TONES BRING OUT THE GOLD IN THE GREEN. WITH ASIAN LIDS, YOU HAVE TO DRAW A THICKER SHADOW LINE SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE COLOR WHEN THE EYE IS OPEN. I TRACED AROUND THE KOMBU TONE WITH A LIGHTER, GRASSY SHADE TO MAKE IT LOOK MORE VIBRANT." - DICK PAGE

"Darker skin absorbs color, so you can use brighter shades. For tawny skin with a red undertone, a matte yellow shadow swept across the eyelid works as a highlighter and offsets the green shadow's pearly shimmer." - Dick Page
