Anna Faris just sent a heartfelt message to her fans, thanking them for their support in the wake of her split from husband Chris Pratt.
"Hey, dear listeners. I just want to thank you all so much for all the love I've been receiving, and I truly love you," Anna said in an intro to this week's prerecorded episode of her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified. Anna and Chris announced their separation via Instagram and Facebook respectively last week, both writing slight variations on the same statement: "We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together."
Following the news of the couple's split, fans noted that Anna had recently spoken on the podcast about the loneliness that can come out of being a performer. On another episode back in May, Anna also spoke about how she and Chris navigated the fact that they often spend long periods of time apart. "My long-distance relationship with Chris, I wouldn't describe it as that, but we do spend a lot of time apart," Anna said. "But the advantage of that is it makes you so appreciate the time you have together, and you really, really value that...And you don't want to waste it fighting, and you know, all the minutiae. It's a high price to pay, but it is a benefit, a silver lining."
Over the weekend, Chris was seen out in public for the first time since the split, not wearing his wedding ring.
