A Video of Lizzo Twerking at a Fast-Food Restaurant Has Re-Emerged

She looks amazing—but people are furious.

Lizzo has made pretty clear that she won't apologize for showing off her incredible body, no matter what her haters say or do. In the wake of criticism over Lizzo twerking (opens in new tab) in a thong-baring cut-out dress at a Lakers game, an old video has resurfaced of Lizzo (opens in new tab) twerking at a fast food restaurant. "YALL SICK OF ME YET?! #ASSCHELLA," Lizzo captioned the post back in April.

The video shows Lizzo wearing booty shorts, an off-the-shoulder top, and a green thong, twerking by the register of what appears to be a Jack in the Box. The camera pans over to the security camera screen, where you can see Lizzo twerking from a different angle. Even though the video was posted back in the spring, some people are commenting on it all over again.

“I’ll pay you to stop please,” someone wrote. “When I worked at McDonald’s, I put people out the restaurant for stuff like this. Now, they have to clean the counter,” another wrote.

The video appears to have resurfaced following Lizzo's epic twerking at a LA Lakers game earlier this month while her song "Juice" played. Here she is doing her thing:

It's worth noting that almost all criticism of Lizzo in these situations isn't really about the twerking, but about the fact that Lizzo is a plus-size woman and dares to be proud of her body. (Remember the outrage when Lady Gaga twerked (opens in new tab) in front of millions at the Super Bowl? Nope, me neither.)

After the Lakers game, Lizzo (opens in new tab) weighed in on the "controversy" via Instagram Stories: "Who I am and the essence of me and the things I choose to do as a grown a** woman can inspire you to do the same. You don't have to be like me, you need to be like you and never ever let somebody stop you, or shame you from being yourself. This is who I've always been."

You tell 'em, Lizzo.
