Justin Bieber returned to Instagram last month after an excruciating six-month hiatus (opens in new tab) and he's certainly made up for lost time—posting downright prolifically on the app. Last night, for example, he posted a total of five pictures in a row of himself hugging fans.

These pictures, as The Cut (opens in new tab) notes, were accompanied by inspirational captions like "let's hug each other more" and "everyone needs to just hug more."

And you know what? Justin looks truly happy in the pictures, which is a pretty big step for a guy who last year canceled all of his meet and greets (opens in new tab) because they were making him depressed, and has a history of yelling at his fans (opens in new tab) during concerts.
