Mindy Kaling is our girl. Not only do we love her because of her previous roles on The Office and in 40 Year Old Virgin, but she's keeping our comedy palettes satiated with her own show, The Mindy Project.
However, thanks to her alma mater Dartmouth, we now have another reason to fawn over Kaling (formerly Vera Mindy Chokalingam). Kaling joked that she went to Dartmouth to "pursue my love of white people and North Face parkas," as well as put pen to paper to create "Badly Drawn Girl," a comic strip in the school newspaper.
Basically, she's a genius comedienne, comic, actress, writer, creator, directer… er, you get the idea. These hilarious and endearing pieces resurfaced recently and ended up on Tumblr. Needless to say, twentysomthing Mindy Kaling seems just as fun to hang out with as thirtysomething Mindy Kaling. Thanks to Dartmouth and the Internet for allowing us to relish in all the glory that is retro Kaling. See below for our favorites of the bunch.
