We're sure we've told you before how much we love Chloé, but just in case we forgot, we'll say it again: We're huuuge Chloé fans. Luckily for us (and you!), the French maison has released a new book celebrating the brand's history. Written by fashion critic and author Sarah Mower, the story of Chloé is told through a history of designers. It may shock some fans to know that many of the head designers for the label have, in fact, been British women. Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo got their start at Chloé, as did Karl Lagerfeld. And contrary to what you may believe, the brand was founded by Gaby Aghion, a French woman who grew up in Egypt and borrowed the name Chloé from a friend to name her label.
The tome also includes a stunning array of images. Archive photographs from the first Chloé runway show, advertisements, and sketches from Karl Lagerfeld's time as head designer are so beautiful, you are sure to spend hours poring over this gorgeous book.
