It always feels like you don’t realize Coachella is happening until, suddenly, your feed is flooded with fringe, cowboy hats, and crochet. So, consider this your official heads-up: every influencer and celebrity you follow will be posting from the desert in Palm Springs starting April 10. The Iconic three-day event marks the beginning of music festival season, with two back-to-back weekends—and I'm going for the very first time. Here's how I'm packing for it.
Coachella has become just as much about style as it is about the music. Though my personal style doesn’t often fit into the boho-coded category, I’m leaning all the way in with my outfits this weekend. When in Indio, right? That means testing out spring's most in-demand trends, like cute bandanas I can wear to fight the dust storms and silver sneakers from Adidas that I swear by for long hours on my feet. I also have endless memorable celebrity festival looks to pull inspiration from, from Kendall and Kylie Jenner's iconic moments to Taylor Swift's all-black incognito ensemble with then-boyfriend (now fiancé!), Travis Kelce, in 2024.
So, if I’m going to pull off an Instagrammable-yet-functional ‘fit, I’ve got some serious work to do. Keep scrolling for my editor-approved picks to inspire your festival season wardrobe, all from Nordstrom and Revolve.
Knee-high boots are a must. Add in the fringe and I’m sold!
The poncho resurgence is really making me wish I kept mine from middle school.
Lace details have been all over the runways recently.
The golden rule of festival season: pack a comfortable pair of shoes.
Funnel-necked jackets are a great layer for when the sun goes down!
This eyelet top would look great with a pair of denim shorts.
Add a western flair to your look without having to go full cowboy with this cow-printed bag.
Consider this slip dress a way to test out the bandana trend, without sacrificing your hair.
Festival season wouldn’t be complete without a pair of cowboy boots.
