Summer's Over
It's been awhile since I've lived where they actually have seasons. So in one respect I am completely looking forward to Fall and Spring. Winter-really? Come on...do people really look forward to winter? February and March are going to be rough on my thin thin thin blood! Just means more shopping for winter clothes! But with the change of season comes a change in skin. Going from Summer to Winter means nourishing your skin should be the top priority. No more chlorinated pools (for some) and no more ocean water too. Time to slough off dead skin cells, increase circulation and refresh skin for the cooler months ahead.
Try these two products to get you thru the end of Summer and into Fall.
A superhydrating gel-cream that increases skin's surface
moisture level with antioxidants and essential oils. For sun-damaged skin, use
every evening for three weeks. Suggested price: around $55 for a 1.7 oz tube.
This dermatologically tested, non-comedogenic mask is suitable
for dry, oily and sensitive skin types. It is formulated with imperata
cylindrica to deliver immediate and continuous hydration for an increased
moisture level of up to 96% after eight hours. The all-natural fragrance
relaxes the mind and body with scents of rose, jasmine and shiu while jojoba
and sandalwood firm the skin for a more youthful texture. Botanical extracts
and oils soothe, repair, fight free radicals and provide exceptional hydration
for supple, soft and incredibly moisturized skin.
Pevonia Botanica Enzymo-Spherides Peeling Cream
Made from pineapple and papaya enzymes, ginkgo and
chamomile, horse chestnut, lemon and a natural foaming agent. Used two or more
times per week, it will revitalize your skin—really. Suggested price: around
$40 for 1.7 oz.
This cream delivers cutting-edge technology: encapsulating
enzymes in micro-spherides. Pineapple and Papaya enzymes join Ginkgo, Calendula
and more in this exceptional formula. Enzymes do not become active until
applied on skin, so the product stays active longer. Works to eliminate
impurities, dead skin cells and blackheads, giving you clear, healthier,
younger-looking skin.
