As part of The Today Show's Shine a Light series (opens in new tab), Hoda Kotb has been selecting notable causes to support throughout the year. This time, she chose to raise money for pediatric cancer (while also turning a few of the kids into pop stars).
The patients at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia had the surprise of a lifetime when Hoda Kotb invited them to star in this 'Truly Brave' music video alongside Sara Bareilles and Cyndi Lauper. The video is a tear-jerker, so grab a tissue and press play:
