Scented Penhaligon's Taxis Hit London

Clint Hild

If you have an issue with uncontrollable coughing while walking through the perfume sections of department stores (as I do), be careful when traveling to London this summer. Five scented taxis commissioned by Penhaligon's, the luxury fragrance house, will now patrol the city. The cabs will be driven by Penhaligon's experts trained to dispense fragrance advice ... and 10-percent-off coupons.

Even if the scent your cab is spritzed with isn't your favorite, it's gotta be more pleasant than the standard NYC taxi scents of B.O. and Little Tree air fresheners.
