I'm a serial lipstick dater. So many lip products slide onto my desk. Some I double-tap and have all the heart eyes for. Others I ghost and leave on seen. This is #BigLipstickEnergy, an honest breakdown of how I feel about the latest lip launches. Read on for the three lipstick flings I'm keeping in rotation for now. Next week, I'll have a new roster.

This Super Sexy Shade
Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon in Pavlova
Bite Beauty sephora.com

Shoutout to vegan cosmetics with a bold color pay-off. This formula is full of good-for-you superfood ingredients, like pomegranate oil, wild African mango, and orange peel wax, which provide vitamins and antioxidants to nourish the lips. And you can forgo lip liner, because the precise, pointed applicator does all the work for you.

I think lip crayons are genius for babes with busy lifestyles. They don't take too much focus to apply at all—you can glide them onto your lips in seconds without even thinking about it. Besides being the best for lazy girls who love beauty (*raises hand*), this shade is seriously so sexy. It's a sultry "rich raspberry" with dark chocolate undertones, and has a velvety matte texture that doesn't get spotty, fade, or feather.

This Classic in a New Formula
Always On Cream to Matte Lipstick in Bawse
Smashbox sephora.com

I have a long-lasting love for Smashbox's Bawse Liquid Lipstick; it's my favorite red lipstick of all time. And the brand made all of my wishes come true with their latest innovation: the same exact shade I'm addicted to in this new cream-to-matte formula. It has a slightly richer texture that dries down to a matte in a matter of seconds.

No matter how many times I've worn this shade, it always makes me feel like the ultimate boss. What's special about this texture is it's a bit more whipped and smooth than the liquid lipstick, thanks to the primer oil.  I haven't worn it enough to say if it's better than the liquid lipstick. But I am feeling it.

This Long-Lasting Tint
Jelly Melt Glossy Lip Tint in Mambo
Sephora Collection sephora.com

I'm sure you're intrigued by the idea of a jelly lip tint. I was too. The bouncy consistency of this lipstick lives up to the hype of its name. At first, it coats the lips in a subtle (but buildable) shine. After an hour or two, the shine diminishes and you're left with a barely-there tint.

I'm 27 and feel like I've tried a billion lipsticks in my lifetime. That may or may not be an exaggeration, but nonetheless, I through all the trials I've learned this: I love unique textures, this cushiony "jelly" one included. And I'm into the way this shade fades overtime into a flesh-toned tint. Plus, it's only $10, which means you should treat yourself to a few.
