- Kourtney Kardashian hit Twitter to defend herself from backlash over her and Kim Kardashian's Candy Land-themed party.
- Kourtney recently revealed that she'll be taking a step back from Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
In case you missed Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians because, I don't know, you were doing literally anything else, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian got in a giant fight about their daughters' joint Candy Land party. The entire thing was exhausting, but basically Kim wanted the party to have, ya know, actual candy—while health-conscious Kourtney wanted there to be nutritious alternatives.
And it looks like the drama is far from over, based on Kourtney's Twitter. The POOSH founder was actively clapping back at her followers on Sunday night, defending herself for wanting healthier choices for her kids and making it clear that the drama over this party isn't exactly ancient history yet.
"I never said NO candy. I said not all junk food, let’s have some salads etc, and @KimKardashian said she wanted the ice cream truck and I suggested organic ice cream with some non dairy options," Kourt tweeted. "Moderation."
She also hit back at someone who said she was annoying, responding "Thanks for being so invested in this sugar plum. I didn’t say No sweets, we had organic cotton candy, and much more. There are healthier candy options. I appreciate your concern about my future as well, may God bless your sweet soul."
Ultimately, Kourtney explained that "I didn’t want an overload, and I wanted some healthier options too," and added that she's "actually shocked that people are so unaware of how harmful certain foods can be. Wow."
And while she didn't come for Kim directly, she did say "My daughter happens to love salads and it was her birthday party, which we also had BBQ food, cakes, and ice cream truck and way too much candy. But you focus on one word that I said, ok?"
Reminder that this candy fight comes on the heels of Kourtney confirming that she's stepping back from KUWTK. Awk.
