Kate Middleton and Prince William are back to business today, just 24 hours after Prince Harry's Sandringham summit with his brother, father Prince Charles, and grandmother Queen Elizabeth II about his and Meghan Markle's future on Monday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just arrived in Bradford, where they will "visit a number of projects which support the community and promote cohesion within it, in one of the UK's most diverse cities," Kensington Palace wrote ahead of their visit.

Kate is wearing a Zara dress, Alexander McQueen coat, and Zeen earrings; she's carrying an Aspinal of London bag. This is her first big, formal event of 2020.

Bonus: Her much-loved Zeen earrings are just $8.

The Kensington Palace Instagram marked her 38th birthday last week by sharing a new portrait of her. Meghan and Harry commented on the post, writing, "Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duchess of Cambridge today! 🎂❤️"

The Queen announced on Monday that she approves of Meghan and Harry stepping back as full-time working royal family members. She said in her statement:

Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wishes to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family. Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives. It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.
