Prince Harry's beard is somewhat of a trademark at this point. And while his brother, Prince William (opens in new tab), has only briefly dabbled with facial hair (opens in new tab), it appears that their father, Prince Charles, also sported a beard at one point. And Prince Charles with a beard (opens in new tab) looks surprisingly similar to his son, Prince Harry (opens in new tab).
It was recently revealed that Prince Harry and Prince Philip (opens in new tab) look way more alike than anyone previously realized. When a vintage magazine cover (opens in new tab) featuring Philip (opens in new tab) with a beard came to light, the resemblance between grandfather and grandson was uncanny. And now, thanks to some photos of Prince Charles (opens in new tab) from 1976 going viral, it's become clear that Harry is also the spitting image of his dad.
Photographed at the Badminton Horse Trials in April and May of 1976, Prince Charles (opens in new tab) can be seen with a beard. As the royal hasn't had facial hair at any other time in public life, that we know of, it's slightly strange to see William and Harry's dad (opens in new tab) with a full beard. And it's impossible to not compare Charles to his son Harry thanks to these photos:
As pointed out by Express (opens in new tab), fans have, quite understandably, gone wild about the comparison between father and son.

Happy Birthday, HRH Prince Charles! The picture with your beard looks exactly how Prince Harry looks today (except for the red hair)—wow! Such a handsome resemblance between you and your sons!November 14, 2018
It's also the perfect time to revisit the momentous occasion in 2008 when Prince William grew his (short-lived) beard:
The resemblance between Prince Harry and his father is unmistakeable.
