In the series of snaps, Charlotte (opens in new tab) can be seen helping to prepare food packages for isolated pensioners in the surrounding area of Kate and William's Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall.

On Instagram, Kate and William shared the new picture and wrote, "Thank you for all your lovely messages on Princess Charlotte’s fifth birthday!" The caption continued, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte, taken by The Duchess this April."

In the adorable fifth snap, Charlotte can be seen holding a packet of fresh pasta, beautifully wrapped and ready to be delivered.

The Cambridges released the initial set of birthday portraits the day prior to Charlotte's fifth birthday and revealed on Instagram, "The images were taken by The Duchess as the family helped to pack up and deliver food packages for isolated pensioners in the local area."
