Watch Two Tinder Users Film Every Stage of Their First Date
"I'm gonna try to kiss her."
When two artists, Daniela Sea and Andy Leek, found they were a match on Tinder, it didn't take long for the two to discuss how they could collaborate. Andy came up with a grand idea: they could each film their first meeting and date from their point of view, then merge the clips into one video.
They called the video 'Two sides of a Tinder date', and it's now live on Vimeo, featuring each of them getting ready, the date itself, and the next morning. Before they meet, we see Daniela confess, "I don't think I will have a crush on him," which is pretty painfully honest considering she knew he'd see the footage later.
Throughout the date, they each take time away to tell the camera how it's going and, well… just watch to see how opinions change and things start to develop. At one point, we see Andy tell the camera that he's going to go in for the first kiss, and then he films that, too. Because we're all being open and honest here, guys.
It's really interesting, though - not just because we're super, super nosey - but because, as Daniela says, it gives a new look at what it's really like to online date. You'll need a spare 30 minutes to watch it but, hey, it's the weekend. You have time…
