Ikea has launched a new range of furniture with integrated wireless charging.
This new feature means that any device which has QI wireless charging built in will begin to charge when placed on specific parts of the furniture.
The Swedish home retailer has designed products to fit in every room in the house, including floor, table and work lamps, two bedside tables, and a selection of charging pads to add to any office space.
Jeanette Skjelmose, Ikea's business area manager for lighting and wireless charging, said: "Through research and home visits, we know that people hate cable mess."
"They worry about not finding the charger and running out of power," she says. "Our new innovative solutions, which integrate wireless charging into home furnishings, will make life at home simpler."
For phones that don't support the wireless charging standard (QI), Ikea have also announced plans to sell a selection of wireless charging covers for iPhone 4, iPhone 5/5S and iPhone 6, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S3, S4 and S5.
The wireless charging range will be available online from mid-April 2015.
