It's here! Apple released its newest incarnations of the iPhone on Tuesday, the 5S and 5C. Both phones will come equipped with Apple's newest software, iOS 7.
The new models are the same overall size as their predecessor. Made of aluminum, the 5S comes in colors including gold, silver, and slate. But even more impressive than a gilded iPhone is perhaps one that comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor.
Dubbed Touch ID, the new feature is part of the 5S home button. The sensor will allow users to complete taks, including unlocking their phones, with a singular touch. Apple insists that the technology is safe, as fingerprints are reportedly encrypted, secured and kept off the cloud. The model starts at $199 and will become available in the U.S. on Sept. 20, 2013.
The 4C is made of plastic and does not include Touch ID. But it does come in fun colors including pink, blue, yellow, lime green, and white. Prices begin at $99. Which color would you pick?
