Alert! Prosecco Donuts Are Now a Thing
Finally, the perfect treat for breakfast and happy hour.
To celebrate National Prosecco Day on August 13, Ruffino Wines teamed up with The Doughnut Project—the same bakery that brought us Everything Bagel Donuts—to create Prosecco Donuts.
Yes, you read that right. Instead of lifting a glass of bubbly at your next toast, you can raise one of these donuts infused with Prosecco.
"For the past two years we have been perfecting our recipes, craft and vision," says Leslie Polizzotto and Troy Neal, who own The Doughnut Project together. We are very excited to partner with Ruffino to create the Prosecco Doughnut for National Prosecco Day."
As if infusing these donuts with Ruffino Prosecco from Italy wasn't enough, they also sprinkled them with edible gold leaf and pink glitter to make them extra fancy.
Prosecco donuts will be available throughout August at The Doughnut Project in New York's West Village for $4.25 each.
