Reese Witherspoon Recovering After Being Hit By a Car

Share

We couldn't believe our eyes when we read the news that our new October cover star, Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car during a jog in Santa Monica yesterday.

According to the police report, she was struck at an unmarked crosswalk by an 84-year-old driver and suffered only minor injuries.

We're so happy to hear that after a quick stop at the hospital, she's home resting and recovering.

We are sure her new hubby Jim Toth and her kids — 11-year-old Ava and 7-year-old Deacon — are making sure she's in good hands.

Best wishes for a quick recovery, Reese!

For more on Reese's newlywedded life, pick up a copy of the October issue of Marie Claire, on newsstands Sept. 20.
