Joan Rivers only died a month ago, but Saturday Night Live is already imagining what she's up to in heaven.
Played by this week's celeb guest host Sarah Silverman (a friend of Rivers IRL), the skit depicts the late, great comedienne roasting an assortment of various other dead celebs—including Benjamin Franklin, Richard Pryor, Lucille Ball, Steve Jobs, Eartha Kitt, Ava Gardner, and Freddie Mercury, played by musical guest Maroon 5's Adam Levine.
Despite stumbling over a few of her lines, Silverman's cheeky, Joan-esque jokes are spot-on. Our only disappointment? That Robin Williams wasn't invited to throw some quick-witted insults right back. We can only assume SNL-alum (and Williams impressionist) Jimmy Fallon wasn't available for the taping...
