The Muppets Take Manhattan...Again!

The Marie Claire staff is made of up many a Muppets fan. We loved finding out what's in Miss Piggy's bag, but we're even more excited to see the new movie.

I was lucky enough to go to an exclusive screening at the Tribeca Grand with my bff Courtney and about 45 other people. Not only did we get to meet co-writer, star, and lifelong muppet-lover Jason Segel who talked with every guest, but the movie did not disappoint. It's definitely one of the feel-good movies of the year—a dancing sing-along musical extravaganza, and the best since 1984’s Muppets Take Manhattan. And like all great Muppet movies, it's packed with stars like Jason, Amy Adams and hilarious cameos from Jack Black, Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Mickey Rooney, Neil Patrick Harris, Sarah Silverman and many others. But the very best part is the on-again/off-again love affair between Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog. Obviously.

Check out the trailer if you haven't seen it yet, and prepare for some good holiday fun
