Celebrities have taken a huge role in donating money and raising awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) by participating in the viral #ALSIceBucketChallenge, raising more than $13 million for the cause since July (some are just raising awareness by posting their videos on social media, others are just donating money, and many are doing both!). ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a condition that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, impacting voluntary muscle movement. Sadly, Cory Griffin, one of the philanthropists who created the ice bucket challenge, died this weekend in a diving accident. He attended a fundraising event earlier that day where he raised $100,000 for ALS, which his best friend suffers from. But his major impact on the cause lives on, as the #ALSIceBucketChallenge continues to spread, with more of your fave celebs joining the cause this weekend.

I'm obsessed with all things social media and live-tweeting my fave shows like ~Pretty Little Liars~. When I'm not scrolling through Insta, I spend time *trying* to perfect the beauty tutorials on YouTube (the struggle is real), and binge-watching shows on Netflix!
