Lizzo's DMs With Chris Evans Are Heating Up

Lizzo drunkenly shooting her shot with Chris Evans on Instagram—and getting a response from him—continues to really pay off for the singer. Lizzo offered her TikTok followers an update on how their conversation in her Instagram DMs is going—and confirmed that yes, thing are progressing.

For context, Lizzo initially sent Evans three emojis: a wind blowing emoji, woman playing basketball, and a basketball: basically, Lizzo shooting her shot. Evans followed Lizzo and replied, “No shame in a drunk DM 😘 god knows I’ve done worse on this app lol 🤦🏻”

On TikTok, Lizzo shared another quick screenshot (seriously, blink and you'll miss it) of their conversation. Some parts were covered. Here's what's discernible.

Lizzo replied to Evans, “Well.. they say u miss 100% of the shots you never take 😏 (and even tho I unsent it like a dork 🤦🏾‍♀️ ) I'm glad u know I exist now 🥰🥰🥰”

He wrote back: “Of course I do! I'm a fan! Keep up the great work!! xxx”

From there, Lizzo blocked out their messages, but she appeared to write him about doing shots. And he seemed to reply positively, talking about buying them:

Evans and Lizzo are both single, for what it's worth. Evans spoke too about how he has good relationships with his exes during an April 2017 interview with ELLE. “It's very rare [I run into exes in Los Angeles],” he started. “But I've had no bad breakups in my life. Typically, if I see an ex, I give a big hug, and it's wonderful to catch up. If you're ever fortunate enough to love someone and have them love you back, it's worth protecting that. It's rare that someone can truly know you. And if you've broken through that kind of wall, I think it's important to value that.”
