Zoe Saldana Rules Out Extreme Diets: 'I Don't Like To F**k With My Body'

The celeb rules out extreme diets.

Zoe Saldana has revealed that she would never gain or lose significant weight for a role.

Saldana's Guardians of the Galaxy co-star Chris Pratt lost more than 60 pounds to play Star-Lord in the upcoming Marvel movie, but Saldana explained that she hates the idea of off-setting her body's natural balance.

"I don't like to f**k with my body like that," Saldana told Digital Spy. "I think it's marvellous when actors do, but I know I don't have it in me to not eat, or to over-eat. I would rather shoot myself in the foot.

"This is not invalidating what Chris has done, he had to go through the transformation and it was a spiritual thing as well for him, and he looks fantastic.

"I really admire actors like Christian Bale and Jared Leto who go up and down, but they're gifted, and once they're done with that movie they go back and look like who they are.

"I don't think that would happen to me. I love Shake Shack too much, as well!"

Saldana plays alien assassin Gamora in the James Gunn-directed movie, which is released in the UK on July 31.
