The 81-year-old actress and comedian experienced a cardiac arrest August 28 while undergoing an operation on her vocal cords and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Melissa today released the following statement: "My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support."
An update yesterday had confirmed that the Fashion Police presenter was still on a life support machine.
Melissa added yesterday: "I know my mother would be overwhelmed by the continued outpouring of kindness and I want to thank everyone for keeping us in their prayers."
