Ever since Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan endured the breakup to end all breakups, Ripa hasn't been shy about speaking out on the behind-the-scenes drama. Case in point: on yesterday's show she joked she's "used to" getting walked all over.

The conversation was about Ripa's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which she received in October 2015. Her guest host Joel McHale asked, "Is it weird to think people are walking on top of you right now?"

"No," Ripa quickly responded. "I've gotten used to that." Cue the awkward laughter from the audience.

After it was announced that Strahan is jumping ship (opens in new tab) to Good Morning America, Ripa's emotional speech (opens in new tab) about being left out of the decision-making loop has sparked a larger conversation about respect in the workplace.

After some tense chuckles following her joke, Ripa told the audience, "It's okay, we can laugh."
