Ashton Kutcher opened the SAG Awards with a bold statement against Donald Trump's immigration ban. His opener directly addressed the issue and set the tone for the show, during which many other celebrities, include Sarah Paulson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Mahershala Ali touched on the current political climate.
"Good evening, fellow SAG members and everyone at home and everyone in airports that belong in my America," he said in his opening remarks. "You are a part of the fabric of who we are and we love you and we welcome you."
