Blake Lively is not here for sexist questions about what she's wearing. The actress recently walked the carpet at Variety's New York Power of Women Luncheon, an event which she was attending not because of her love for fashion, but because of her advocacy against child pornography.
According to a journalist on Variety's red carpet, Lively responded to the person who asked about her outfit by quipping "Are we really doing this? Would you ask a man that?" The rest of her comments were caught on camera:
Variety reports that during the event itself Blake had this to say: "There's a lot that's worrying me [about the current administration] as a woman and a mother. I feel like there's an awakening that's happened…We can't just retweet things. We have to do something about it."
