Comic-Con is a magical place at which all kinds of amazing ideas get shared, and 2017 is no exception. At New York Comic-Con this weekend, executive producer of both Riverdale and the new Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot, Jon Goldwater, revealed some very exciting details about both shows.

Firstly, Goldwater revealed that the Sabrina reboot was already in the casting stage. As SyFy reported, Goldwater told the crowd at Comic-Con, "We've started casting for Sabrina the character. You'll be able to meet her soon."

As if that news wasn't exciting enough, the Archie Comics team also revealed that they were launching a new regular comic book series called Jughead: The Hunger.

While Jughead's Werewolf storyline is only taking place in the comic books right now, it's possible that we'll see some supernatural elements introduced into the TV series soon. After all, Riverdale's creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, is responsible for writing the comics on which the TV series is based, including Afterlife With Archie, which features zombies. And Cole Sprouse would look great as a werewolf, no question.
