"Be a warrior!"

Disney

The more we find out about forthcoming movie, A Wrinkle in Time, the more perfect it looks. Directed by the inimitable Ava DuVernay, Disney’s new adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time stars Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, Chris Pine, and Mindy Kaling. And as the March 9, 2018 release date edges closer, Disney has gifted us all with a set of moving character posters, and a brand new TV spot. Happy new year, indeed!

The movie is based on Madeleine L’Engle’s classic novel, which according to a new press release, "takes the audience across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love." Led by three celestial guides, played by Witherspoon, Winfrey, and Kaling, we're taken on a journey with Meg Murry, whose astrophysicist father is imprisoned on a distant planet. Working with her brother, a classmate, and the three guides, Meg has to find a way to save her father.

And now, thanks to some brand new posters, we have a closer look at the three celestial guides that will aid Meg on her journey. Firstly, there is Oprah Winfrey's Mrs. Which:
