Earlier this week, Gothamist (opens in new tab) reported on an unfortunate Brooklyn husband who accidentally gave away his wife's beloved copy of Judy Blume's Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. He posted flyers around the neighborhood in hopes that someone might return it, noting that the book was "extremely important" to his wife because "it was a keepsake from her mother and is irreplaceable." Woof! Things were not looking good for this guy.

But it got better! An angel named Judy Blume heard this man's tale of woe and tweeted that she wanted to help. She eventually tracked down the husband and offered to send a signed copy. "Not sure I can find that cover but will try," she wrote. "Let's hope it saves the marriage." According to the husband, it did (opens in new tab). Judy Blume to the rescue!
