Here Are Just Some of the Infuriatingly Sexist Comments Gretchen Carlson Had to Deal with on 'Fox & Friends'

The former cable-news host is suing CEO Roger Ailes, saying he fired her for rebuffing his advances.

Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson recently filed a lawsuit against the network's chairman and CEO, Roger Ailes, claiming that she was fired for rejecting his sexual advances and speaking out against sexism in the workplace.

Ailes has issued a statement calling Carlson's claims "false," and that she was fired for low ratings. Carlson's lawyers responded to that on Facebook Thursday, saying that after she complained about discrimination, she "was moved to a challenging time slot and denied support and promotion," but still had the top-rated cable news show in her time slot.

Though it's never clear what really happened in lawsuits like this, it's not hard to find on-screen sexism in Carlson's career. Bloomberg Politics compiled just some of the sexist BS Carlson had to put up with from her co-hosts while she was on Fox & Friends, and it is absolutely rage-inducing. It's a special skill indeed to keep grinning as your colleagues address your attractiveness to millions of people.
