Update 2/14: For the first time in their 52-year history, Sports Illustrated has announced not one, not two, but three covers for their coveted Swimsuit Edition. They're also making history with their cover choices, including model Ashley Graham who is considered plus size in the industry, alongside Hailey Clauson and mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey. "All three women are beautiful, sexy and strong. Beauty is not cookie cutter. Beauty is not 'one size fits all,'" the magazine stated. See more from the new issue on

Update, 1/8: After much speculation and some very telling clues (see below), Sports Illustrated revealed that Ronda Rousey will be in their swimsuit issue again this year. However, they haven't confirmed whether she will be covering the magazine.

Original post, 1/6: Sports Illustrated editor MJ Day teased the magazine's upcoming swimsuit issue with a rather cheeky sneak peek on Instagram. Pictured is an anonymous (and toned) derrière covered in lifelike body paint, and the Internet is claiming it's Ronda Rousey's.

The big hint? The tattoo on her right wrist. Take a close look below to compare.

Sports Illustrated can neither confirm or deny the rumors, but commenters on Day's photo seem confident that the featured bum belongs to Rousey. The official cover releases in February,  but it wouldn't be the MMA fighter's first time in the swim issue, as she made an appearance in last year's edition too.
