This week's latest viral internet trend is either wildly amazing, or totally ridiculous, depending on who you ask. Some v inventive girls have found a majorly cheap way of DIYing the sock booties taking over the feet of fashion people everywhere.

Not familiar with sock booties? Well, the Jenner sisters and crew have been wearing the Yeezy versions non-stop all summer and because of that, you've most likely seen them on the shelves of your local Zara, as well.

Being crafted by the hands of Yeezy, these little babies will cost you $895 (opens in new tab) a pair, but internet genius Shay Cherise, AKA @thenuvogue (opens in new tab), has figured out how to dupe them for about $5.

Instead of paying crazy money for the Kardashian family faves, Shay bought tube socks, snipped a hole in the heel, glued some Sure Step (opens in new tab) texture paper to the bottom, and slipped them on over her pointed-toe heels.

The results are almost identical to Kanye Wests's mad expensive version.

After finding out about this life-changing stroke of brilliance, the rest of the internet quickly followed, turning the simple hack into a full-blown takeover.

Let's admire the slay.
